The Grenada Red Cross Society (GRCS), through its most treasured asset, our volunteers, continues to provide invaluable services to improve lives and reduce risks. The GRCS Strategic Plan 2030, through a renewed vision, reframes the programs of our National Society aligning them more closely with the Sustainable Developments Goals (SDGs), the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) Strategy 2030, and the Grenada National Sustainable Development Plan 2020 to 2035. This, we believe, will enable the Red Cross to make the best use of available resources to meet the needs of the populations we serve, thereby strengthening our auxiliary role to government. Community engagement and accountability is paramount while employing innovation and creativity in a world where technology continues to spiral. We must develop a culture of taking initiative, positioning ourselves to predict and adapt to an ever-changing landscape.  The futuristic predictions of more frequent and severe events will require greater capacity to prepare for and respond to major emergencies. The GRCS Strategic Plan 2030 provides the framework that we need to achieve just that and to be advocates for those whose voices are often unheard but whose cries somehow remain the loudest.
